Weekly Notes:

Reminder that meet schedule is always subject to change depending on the needs of the team at the time, so use it as a guideline, not a concrete list of events.

Lapathon is coming up on September 24th so remember it is time to start looking for sponsors.  Fundraising is a major part of how we are able to attend as many meets as we do, so do your part and then some!

The weather/rain changes our training plans a lot this time of year so just bare with us as we work through the week and attempt to avoid missing too much practice.  This means change of practice locations may happen often.

This weekends meet does not feature non varsity competition.

Recent Events:

This past weekend several of our runners were taking the ACT, but we still competed in XC action at City Park.  We had a few top 10 performances as Justin Unger and Alex Keller placed 2nd and 7th respectively in the MS boys 1.5 mile and Troianna Gause ran right off her season best in the girls varsity race to take 4th.  We had several new faces competing for the Patriots this weekend, so thanks for coming out and thanks to the kids and parents for helping us find new athletes!
