Meet Information:

The regional championship will be held at West Jefferson Stadium on Wednesday, April 29th.  All athletes not competing should attend to help facilitate the running of the meet.

Recent Events:

We had the district track meet this past week and for the first time in school history, both the boys and the girls won.  Qualifiers for regionals include Troianna Gause in the 1600, 800, and 3200; Devyn Keith in the 1600, 800, and 3200; Tyler Dugas in the 3200 and Trey Stewart in the 1600.

Meet Information:

The varsity meet this weekend will be at West Jefferson High School on Saturday morning.  Running begins at 9:00 A.M.

Weekly Notes:

9th grade and below runners will have off from practice From April 1st-12th.  Starting on April 13th we will begin practice for XC/summer track.  Please turn in the summer paperwork as soon as possible.

We will practice Monday-Friday of Easter week and then compete on Saturday at the Newman Invite for those athletes who will be competing varsity in the post season.

The district meet will be on Monday, April 20th and regionals will be on April 29th.  We will need all team members not competing to help host the event.

Recent Events:

The previous week saw several personal records once again.  On Tuesday, Marcus Dean ran 2:20 and Matt Perniciaro 2:26 for new PRs in the 800.  Cade Winestein ran 5:58, Alex Keller 5:50, and Denton Young 4:52 for new 1600 PRs.  In the 3200, Justin Unger ran 12:25 for a new PR.  Thursday Trey Stewart ran 2:04 in the 800 and Troianna Gause ran a school record in the 1600 with a 5:32.

Saturday Devyn Keith and Austin Brown both competed at the Mobile Meet of Champions; congratulations to their success.
